LAW 136 prepares the student to assist attorneys and corporations in tort and insurance law. It covers the primary legal principles of tort law including the elements of specific torts, how to issue spot torts, and how to analyze the cause of action and applicable damages. LAW 136 also covers an introduction to standard homeowner's and auto (PIP) policies. Training in the use of specific forms and procedures utilized in tort and insurance work in Hawai‘i is also incorporated. Class Details
